
Several Great Value cottage cheese products sold at Walmart are being voluntarily recalled due to a possible health concern.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is recalling select products sold between February 17 and February 20 in Walmart stores across 24 states.

The recalled items were primarily sold in 24-ounce containers with “Best If Used By” dates between April 1 and April 3. The 4% milkfat variety was also available in 16-ounce and 3-pound containers.
Reason for Recall
The recall was issued because some liquid dairy ingredients used in production may not have been fully pasteurized. This could pose a health risk, particularly for young children, older adults, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
At this time, the FDA reports that no illnesses or hospitalizations have been linked to the affected products.
What Customers Should Do
Consumers who purchased the recalled cottage cheese should not consume it. Instead, dispose of the product or return it to Walmart for a full refund.

Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
