2019 Veteran’s Day Freebies & Deals
Veteran’s Day will be on Monday, November 11, 2019.
There are quite a few restaurants that offer free or deeply discounted meals on and around Veteran’s day. You will need to present a veteran ID card, military ID card, discharge document, or a driver’s license with a veteran designation.
Non-Restaurant Deals for Veterans for 2019:
B&B’s for Vets: offers a free night’s stay to active and retired military and one guest each on and around November 11th. Space is limited, so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible.
Colonial Williamsburg: 50% off the purchase of Single-day admission tickets for yourself and up to three direct dependents.
Great Clips: On Nov. 11, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get either a free haircut or a free haircut card to use by the end of the year. In addition, non-veteran customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons can pay it forward. They receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran as a token of thanks. The free haircut cards can be redeemed from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31, 2019 at any U.S. Great Clips salon.
Lowe’s: 10% off for Veteran’s – now valid all year long!
Meineke Car Care Centers: Free Basic Oil Change on Veteran’s Day at participating locations – need to call the local store to see if they are.
National Parks: Free entrance on Veteran’s Day (includes entrance fee)
Publix: Veterans, active military personnel, and their families are invited to save 10% on groceries on Monday, November 11, 2019. You will need to present a veteran ID card, military ID card, discharge document, or a driver’s license with a veteran designation.
Sport Clips: Free haircuts will be offered to active-duty US Service Members and veterans
Restaurant Deals for Veterans for 2019:
54th Street Grill & Bar: Free entree up to $12 in value for Veterans Day 2019 for both vets and active duty military. They’re also running a contest for a 54th Street Grill gift card if you post a photo to the restaurant’s Instagram with the hashtag “#54SUPPORTSVETS” through Nov. 12, 2019.
Applebee’s: Get a free meal, from a special menu.
BJ’s Restaurants & Brewhouse: All vets and active military get a free entree and Dr. Pepper (under $14.95)
Baker’s Square: All veterans and active duty service members receive a free meal on Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
Bob Evans: Bob Evans is offering 6 free breakfast items, available all day, and select lunch and dinner options.
Bonanza Steakhouse: All former and current military servicemen and women enjoy a free buffet (beverage not included). Only at participating locations.
Bonefish Grill: Free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers to military and veterans on Veterans Day.
Boston Market: Free Brownie or Cookie with any purchase for all veterans, service members, and their families. No ID required.
Bruegger’s Bagels: Veterans and active military members may enjoy a free small coffee.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans & Active Military Members will receive 5 Free Boneless Wings with choice of sauce and a free non-alcoholic beverage all day on Monday, November 11, 2019. Dine-in only. Military ID or proof of service required.
California Pizza Kitchen: Free pizza, full-size salad, or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in only on Veterans Day 2019.
Carlo’s Bake Shop: The Cake Boss will honor veterans with a free cannoli, regular or chocolate, on Veterans Day 2019. Military ID is required for this sweet treat from Carlo’s Bake Shop locations.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill: Get your free calamari with purchase and a valid ID for active-duty military and Veteran at Carrabba’s on Veterans Day. They are also offering and ongoing 10 percent Heroes Discount for all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders starting on Nov. 12, 2019.
Charlie Browns Steakhouse: Free Lunch (11/11 11am-3pm)
Cheeseburger in Paradise: Receive a complimentary Veteran’s Burger with fries to veterans, active and retired military personnel on Veterans Day. Dine in only & you must purchase a beverage.
Chevys Fresh Mex: On Veterans Day, Chevys Fresh Mex will offer a complimentary menu item (from special menu) to all active and retired military personnel. Special Veterans Day menu includes fajitas, burritos, tacos and more.
Chicken Salad Chick: Veterans get a free Original Chick meal, which includes a chicken salad scoop or sandwich, side, pickle and cookie, with a drink.
Chili’s: Free meal from a special menu at most locations. The special menu includes Chili’s signature Chicken Crispers, Margarita Grilled Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Just Bacon Burger, Oldtimer with Cheese, Cajun Chicken Pasta, or a bowl of chili, soup or salad.
Chuck E. Cheese’s: To thank service members past and present, on Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11, Chuck E. Cheese’s will be offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members at participating stores nationwide.
CiCi’s Pizza: Free buffet on Veterans Day, including pizza, salads, dessert, and more.
Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake when you visit Cracker Barrel this Veterans Day.
Denny’s: Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam. **Not confirmed but they have offered this every year.
Famous Dave’s: All former and current military personnel will receive a free two meat Combo.
Fazoli’s: Veterans can get a free “Build Your Own Pasta Bowl” on Nov. 11.
Firebirds Grill: Free Meal at participating locations.
Fogo de Chao: Customers with military ID get 50% off food at Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouses on Memorial Day 2019, plus 10% off meals for up to three other guests.
Friendly’s: On Veterans Day, all former or active military personnel can receive a free All-American meal for lunch or dinner, which consists of the All-American Burger, served with a side of fries and a drink. The burger can be upgraded to a cheeseburger for free. Confirmed for 2020
Golden Corral: Visit them on November 11yh for a free beverage and buffet meal from 5-9 p.m.
Grub Kitchen and Bar: Veterans, reserve, retired and active-duty military with valid ID or wearing their uniform can enjoy a free entree at Grub Kitchen and Bar. Grub restaurants also offer a 10 percent discount year-round for veterans and active-duty military personnel.
Hooters: Free Meal at participating locations.
Houlihan’s: Receive a free entree from a select menu on Veteran’s Day 11/11 with proof of veteran status or active service in the military.
Hy-Vee Free Breakfast: Free breakfast buffet for veterans during regular breakfast hours on November 11th from 6 am to 11 am.
Ikea: Free entree for Veterans.
Krispy Kreme Free Doughnut & Coffee: Get 1 free donut and small coffee on Veterans Day.
Krystal: Krystal offers military and vets a free sausage biscuit from 6-10:30 AM. Available both to dine-in and drive-thru guests.
Little Caesars: Free $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo on Veterans Day.
Logan’s Roadhouse: Between 3–6 pm, all Veterans and Military Personnel will receive a free meal from our American Roadhouse Meals menu (with valid military id). Beverage not included.
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: On Veterans Day (Nov. 11), active and former military can enjoy a complimentary dessert and a 20% discount with proof of service. Veterans receive 20% off the entire month of November for ‘Military Family Month.’
McCormick and Schmick’s: Veterans, active-duty military, and Gold Star Parents and spouses get a free entrée at McCormick and Schmick’s on Monday, May 27. The choice of free entrées includes salmon rigatoni, buttermilk fried shrimp, tender beef medallions, and the McCormick’s cheeseburger.
Mimi’s Cafe: Free entree with the purchase of any non-alcoholic drink at Mimi’s Cafe on Veteran’s Day, 11/11/19. Veteran’s can choose a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner entree from a select menu.

O’Charley’s: Veterans can choose from O’Charley’s “Veterans Thank You Menu” all day on November 11th simply by showing their military IDs. Restaurant participation may vary by location. O’Charley’s also offers a military discount of 10 percent off all year long.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt: On November 11, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will be offering free frozen yogurt for all active and retired military at participating locations.
Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu.
Red Robin: Free dine-in Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.
Rubio’s Coastal Grill: Veterans and active-duty military eat free at Rubio’s on Memorial Day. Rubio’s posted a coupon on Facebook that will give guests with military ID one free entrée with the purchase of another entrée of equal or higher price, on Monday, May 27.
Shoney’s Offers Free All-American Burger: Get a free All You Care To Eat breakfast, to all Veterans and Active Duty Military members on Monday 11.11.19 from open – 11 am.
Starbucks: Enjoy a free Tall Brewed Coffee.
Texas Roadhouse: Choose from 10 lunch offers, including a complimentary beverage.
Village Inn Free Breakfast: All veterans and active duty service members receive a free meal on Veterans Day (Nov. 11). Village Inn also offers a military discount of 10 percent off all year long.
White Castle: Receive a free breakfast combo or Castle Combo Meal #1 – #6.
Wienerschnitzel: Free Chili Dog with a small fry and a 20-ounce drink to Veterans and Active Duty Service members.
