SwagFit Challenge Day 16: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly!

Not a good day…LOL.  The good – I swam a WHOLE lot.  The Bad – I drank sweet tea (love it!!).  The Ugly – We went to a movie – there was popcorn (my weakness!!!).  I will be making up for this tomorrow!

Challenge:  Determine your weaknesses and find a way to overcome them?  Its all about life changes – figure out what you need to do to change the way you think about food and exercise and do it!

OK your turn…how did you do today? Eat right/exercise?

    I did pretty well today. I changed up my exercise routine at the gym and burned and extra 100 calories than what I normally do. I am excited so I think I will stick with it for a bit. The ugly for me is the temptation to eat carbs. I really like those!

    I ate good today. I did have some chocolate, but I had a lighter dinner. We went to the park later and instead of watching the kids play or walking around them, I played with them from tag to monsters and slides and everything. It was a fun workout. My weakness is sweets, but I make sure to have a few small ones each week or I would totally pig out all at once. That way I dont feel so deprived.

    Wahoo! A decent day! Kept busy with the kids during the day and went for a 35 minute run this evening. My weakness is sweets, particularly chocolate! I have to say that I try and have a little of something either sweet or chocolatey each day. I don’t deprive myself and try to maintain a balance of moderation. I try to maintain a healthy diet in general and fit in my sweets!

    We went on a day trip today, So I ate okay, not great but not horrible either. The thing that is my biggest weakness is my sweet tooth and discouragement. I have gained a lot of weight recently and I really need to get serious about getting back into healthy weight range for me.

    Very stressful day. Didn’t get home from work until 7:30 pm. Had cereal for dinnere plus part of my husband’s blizzard and some fried potatoes. Stress makes me eat too much and the wrong things.

    Did good exercise wise. Unfortunately we are here near some of the fires in FL and it is so hot and smoky out, really don’t feel like being outside at all. I feel so much better and my mood is so much better if I can get that Vit D from the sun even a little.

    Anyways, I went to the store late to use up the last of a $5/$30 at Publix and I bought some bulk no salt almonds. These are healthy fats yes, but I have a weakness for them! I can’t stop until they are gone, which is why I only buy a small handful from the bulk section as I would probably eat the whole can.

    On another note, my daughter made me the best ice cream (we can’t have dairy) with almond milk. So good and easy, low cal too. She has has a post here: http://www.jessiesgymnasticjourney.wordpress.com

    My weakness is ice cream (its so hot here LOL) and chocolate. I had some ice cream yesterday, but I did get in my exercise and so far I have lost 3 pounds. Not great, but not bad either.

    My problem is getting the motivation to work out. I never have any energy. Eating well is no problem because I like the taste of healthier foods. I just lack motivation.

    my biggest weakness is that i get bored easily. It’s a challenge to stay motivated. I don’t have problems eating healthy foods, I prefer them in fact. However, I eat way too quickly and end up eating more than I should at one time. I need to fix that also. It’s hard because i something is meant to be eaten hot,I want to eat it while it’s still hot.

    I’ve done really well with water aerobics and swimming. it’s sweltering here in south fla. Not that I’m complaining…..

    Bootcamp at 6am and I feel great! I wish I could do that every day, but I can only find classes that early twice a week!

    We eat guilt free popcorn around our house! We buy organic popping corn in bulk from our local health food store, pop it in the microwave, then add organic coconut oil (it doesn’t effect the taste) to make the sea salt stick. YUMMO! I’m a butter snob so when I love this popcorn without butter, you know it’s gotta be good! It’s actually good for you!!!
