Swam with my son for about an hour.  I swear racing him across the pool is the best workout…LOL.  Didn’t eat too bad but I definitely need work on it because my house is filled with “not so great” stuff!  We don’t eat a lot of junk food but we could eat better.

Challenge:  Take a look at your shopping habits at the grocery store and see how you can improve!  I tend to buy stuff for the boys and not for me, then when I am hungry there is nothing!  Gonna have to fix that in my house – veggie market, here I come!

OK your turn…how did you do today? Eat right/exercise?

Today’s a decent day all around. . . played with the kiddos outside for an hour and a half. Climbed stairs with them and ran around. Hoping to get my workout in after they go to bed! Have to pack up tonight as we have a 6 AM flight (ugggghhhh!!!), so we’ll see if that happens!

I let myself get too hungry and then I ate too much lunch. If I don’t eat soon enough I get ravenous. I will try to exercise tonight to make up for it.

Went shopping yesterday and today. I got lots of good dairy, vegs (also lots from my garden (: ), and fruits. Just picked a gal of blueberries yesterday and will again soon (I try to pick 5 gal a year and can, freeze and eat them all!!! Good luck everyone and have a great weekend!

I had a good day. I didn’t overeat and I exercised early. For the challenge I added some extra exercises and had only water to drink. It’s defiantly hard to stay on track under stress but it’s getting easier.

I did a lot of yard work for my home and my neighbor. I made some Thai Peanut Chicken wraps yesterday and ate those for lunch today. For dessert I made homemade blueberry muffins. I know my problem at the store. I always go in hungry! I know it is a big no-no but it is rare that I’m not hungry! lol. I need to start going directly after lunch or dinner, maybe that will help.

I bought a box of 100 calorie pack almonds and applesauce cups to include in my lunch next week. Next week I start a full time internship so I won’t have so much time to eat anyways.

I usually eat fine at home because I don’tbuy too much junk. Vacation has been another story but at least I have stuck with water to drink. I did day 3 of c25k. My legs hurt pretty bad so I am going to take. A break tomorrow from exercise

I doubled my walking today . Yay Me I also did my sit-ups and balance ball. I will stretch for along time before bed so I don’t cramp up or be real sore tomorrow. I ate well no pop or sweet drinks. I drank lots of water too.

I did ok today, not great. We ate out for lunch and I ate healthier. However, I didnt really exercise today and had ice cream after dinner. I am trying to keep less junk in the house but I still need to work on drinking more water. I’m not sure why that is so hard for me but it seems to be.

I have been keeping less junk in the house. It makes it easier for sure. My family is used to opening up the cabinet and there being tons of snacks. Of course now they all are like “mom, we’re hungry what’s to eat?” so I have to guide them or make them a sandwich or something. But I would rather take the time than having them eat endless amounts of cookies, crackers, chips etc.

I do like nuts and choc. chips and if I have them in the house I usually will eat them all so it’s best if I don’t buy them.

We eat pretty healthy for the most part (organic when possible), fruits, veg and limit the processed foods. I even started making our own pizza. My husband actually helps as he is pretty good at rolling out the dough and forming the crust.

I used to buy cookies for my husband and occcasionally go crazy on them myself. I stopped. No more cookies. If he wants them, he can get some during lunch at work. I’m not buying them anymore, so that way I can’t eat them.

I was doing so well until this weekend. Must get better. I have 4 more weekends where we’ll be traveling plus a 11day trip to KY and the Smokey Mountains. It’s difficult when you companions only want to eat twice a day.
