SwagFit Challenge Day 24: Make it a Lazy Day!

It’s been rainy and nasty most of the day here so I am feeling LAZY!  No exercise but I did eat great and plan to do some working out at home tonight.

No challenge today – I vote for a take it easy day!

    Hmmm… Did I eat right?!? I don’t remember. Is that sad? i can’t remember what i’ve eaten today (its one of those days.) I think I did. Exercise wise I’ll be heading to my cardio class in a few minutes! Not being lazy tonight cause I was lazy ALL day!

    Got home today from my roadtrip and gained 7lbs!!!! :( So mad at myself! Luckily I started running while on my trip and exercise is my nemesis so after I get back to eating healthier again (the easier part for me) and continuing on my water only phase, I think I’ll be good.

    Ate good and jogged this morning. The day goes better when I exercise first.

    Did some gardening today and played in the pool. I ate okay. I am so not exercising tonight (been a crazy day with a 5 year old-my daughter). Anyway, I will count it as a lazy day.

    Ate well, no exercise because I worked in a lab all day and I don’t feel well.

    Ate pretty well today. Feel good overall. Going to exercise right now as the kiddos fell asleep fast tonight! It’s a full weekend, so I may save my “lazy day” for Sat or Sunday!

      Just my follow-up: ran 3 miles, walked 1 more. . . heel/plantar fasciitis really bothering me again. BUMMED! Okay, tomorrow I NEED to find a different cardio workout that does not involve running . . . I just love to run though!

    I ate well and healthy. I exercised today by walking its been a rough day. I drink lot of water and no sweet drinks at all. I also did 50 situps again.

    It was a so-so day. Super busy having company and such. I did get to the gym so I feel good about that. Overall I feel ok about the day, just not great. This weekend my cousin is getting married so I know its gonna be a tough weekend.

    I didnt do too bad today. I did all my exercises and ate healthy foods all day long. The only thing that I need to work on is my sodium intake because Ive been having a lot of flavored sunflower and pumpkin seeds, their so good that it keeps me from eating worse foods like pizza(yum).

    I did lower body w/ weights today. Great workout. I was able to get it in fairly early. For me if I don’t get it in early then I just don’t ever get around to it. It definitely makes me feel better after I do it, however there certainly is time for rest days. I usually do mine on Sat or Sun. Your body NEEDs time to rebuild muscles. So resting is good mentally and physically.

    When I first started working out I started researching on the internet about best workouts. I mainly did stuff at home because the gym didn’t provide child care and my husband works EARLY (3am). I pulled out old aerobics and P90X dvds and went from there. Then started doing workouts from FitTV (Cathe). Absolutely changed me. I definitely recommend weights as the more muscle you build the more fat you burn.

    Went out with friends to a restaurant last night for book club. I made a very healthy strawberry chicken salad choice. The scales said I’ve dropped 10 lbs since I started (a week before this started) so I am very happy. Family graduation party tomorrow, that may be tough! Oh well, I’ll try to get a walk in on Sunday. Have my grandson tonight.
