Staring tomorrow (2/17), Walmart will be closing select stores that are underperforming. There are five stores in four states: Illinois, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Florida. In addition, they are ending the nine-year experiment with two pick-up only locations in Illinois and Arkansas.
It’s unfortunate to lose these stores in our communities. We wish the employees impacted by this news luck in finding new opportunities soon.
