Ways to heat a patio…on a budget – without a heater – in the cold weather

mainstays metal round outdoor wood burning fire pit
Patios are great, even in winter but they can get quit cold. If you’re looking for ways to heat your patio without breaking the bank, there are a few options.

One is to use portable fire pits or outdoor chimeneas. At the end of winter, many stores discount these items, so it’s worth checking for deals. We quite frequently post deals on fire pits so make sure to subscribe for emails so you don’t miss any deals!

Another option is to use outdoor heat lamps. These can be found at most home improvement stores and are relatively inexpensive. Just be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to avoid starting a fire. You can even pick these up on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist pretty cheap too!

Another is to invest in some good quality outdoor blankets and throws. Blankets made of wool or other natural fibers are best, as they will retain heat better than synthetic materials.

With a little creativity, you can enjoy your patio even in the coldest weather!
