Walmart Thanksgiving Meal Deal
Walmart has offered some pretty impressive Thanksgiving meal deals in recent years, including a complete holiday dinner for around $40 that feeds up to 10 people.
Previous bundles included a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie ingredients. We’re watching for Walmart’s official 2026 Thanksgiving meal announcement and will update the details once they’re confirmed.

FREE Thanksgiving Turkey with Ibotta
I’ve been sharing Ibotta’s Thanksgiving promotion for years, and it’s always one of my favorites!
For 2026, Ibotta is bringing back its Thanksgiving Dinner on Us promotion, giving shoppers the opportunity to earn 100% cashback on a qualifying turkey purchase.
There’s a catch, though! You’ll need to complete a personalized cashback bonus in the Ibotta app to unlock the turkey offer. The number of required offers can vary by account.
Ibotta is also offering special Thanksgiving side dish promotions, with new offers scheduled to appear on Tuesdays beginning November 3, while supplies last.
It’s not quite as simple as grabbing a turkey and getting your money back, but if you already use Ibotta for grocery shopping, this could be a great way to save!
Lidl Thanksgiving Dinner for 10 – $35.86
Lidl is offering one of the cheapest Thanksgiving meal deals we’ve found for 2026!
From November 11 through November 25, Lidl Plus members can put together a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people for approximately $35.86. That works out to just $3.59 per person!
The meal includes a 14-pound turkey along with ingredients for classic Thanksgiving sides, rolls, and pumpkin pie. You’ll need a Lidl store nearby and a Lidl Plus account to take advantage of the advertised pricing. Availability may vary.
ALDI Thanksgiving Dinner for 10 – Under $39
ALDI is another great place to shop if you’re trying to keep Thanksgiving dinner affordable. For 2026, ALDI is advertising a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people for under $39!
The meal features a turkey and ingredients for holiday favorites like potatoes, green beans, rolls, and pie. If you already shop at ALDI, you know their store brands can save you quite a bit compared to name-brand groceries.
Keep in mind that this is a grocery shopping list rather than a fully prepared meal, so you’ll still need to do the cooking.
Amazon Fresh Thanksgiving Meal Deals
Amazon Fresh has offered some surprisingly affordable Thanksgiving meal bundles in previous years, including a dinner for five for around $25. That’s a great option for smaller families who don’t need a huge turkey and a refrigerator full of leftovers!
We’re waiting for Amazon’s 2026 Thanksgiving meal pricing to be confirmed. In the meantime, keep an eye out for grocery coupons, holiday baking deals, and discounts on Thanksgiving essentials. Amazon Fresh availability and pricing depend on your delivery area.
Target Thanksgiving Meal Deals
Target has offered Thanksgiving meal deals for smaller families in previous years, including a dinner for four for under $20. These smaller bundles can be perfect if you’re cooking for just a few people or planning a Friendsgiving dinner.
Target’s 2026 Thanksgiving meal pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s worth checking as we get closer to the holiday.
Where to Get a FREE Thanksgiving Dinner
If buying Thanksgiving dinner isn’t in the budget this year, don’t overlook local organizations that provide free holiday food boxes, turkeys, and community meals.
Many food banks, churches, and nonprofit organizations offer Thanksgiving assistance to families who need a little help. Some provide groceries to prepare at home, while others serve a complete holiday dinner.
Here are a few good places to start:
- Feeding America: Find food banks and local food assistance programs by ZIP code.
- 211: Call 211 or search online for holiday meal programs and community assistance near you.
- USAGov: Find additional resources for free food and emergency grocery assistance.
- Local churches and community centers: Many organize Thanksgiving meal distributions or free holiday dinners.
Tip: Don’t wait until Thanksgiving week to look for help! Some holiday meal programs require registration weeks in advance, and supplies may be limited.
Which Thanksgiving Dinner Deal Is the Cheapest?
Based on the 2026 offers announced so far, here’s how the grocery meal deals compare:

| Lidl | $35.86 | 10 |
| ALDI | Under $39 | 10 |
| Walmart | 2026 price pending | To be confirmed |
| Amazon Fresh | 2026 price pending | To be confirmed |

Best advertised grocery deal so far: Lidl at $35.86 for 10 people, followed closely by ALDI at under $39.
Best potential freebie: Ibotta’s turkey cashback promotion, provided you complete the required offers.
Remember, these meal deals aren’t identical. Turkey sizes, included ingredients, and serving estimates vary, so compare what’s actually in each basket before deciding which one saves you the most.
More Ways to Save on Thanksgiving Dinner
- Check grocery rewards programs. Some stores offer free or discounted turkeys when you meet a spending requirement.
- Compare turkey prices per pound. A larger bird isn’t always the cheapest option for a smaller family. Always watch the price per pound.
- Use cashback apps. Check Ibotta and your grocery store’s digital coupons before shopping.
- Skip expensive convenience foods. Making a few sides from scratch can be cheaper than buying prepared versions.
- Split the cooking. If you’re hosting family or friends, ask everyone to bring a side dish or dessert.
- Shop early for shelf-stable ingredients. Stuffing, canned vegetables, broth, and baking supplies can be purchased ahead of time when they’re on sale.
- Plan for leftovers. Turkey sandwiches, soup, casseroles, and pot pie can turn one holiday dinner into several meals.
I’ll keep updating this list as more stores announce their 2026 Thanksgiving deals, so check back before you do your holiday grocery shopping!
