Now for the important part: While Groupon mentions dream destinations such as Hawaii, Aruba, Paris, Bali and Santorini, your mystery trip will most likely be a quick domestic getaway. Of the 2,000 available vouchers, 1,982 are for two-night stays in major U.S. cities. Only 18 vouchers include a longer tropical or international vacation.
If you’re flexible and would enjoy a surprise weekend trip somewhere in the United States, this could be a fun and affordable adventure. However, your trip becomes nonrefundable once you redeem the voucher—and you won’t learn your destination until it is assigned.
