National Taco Day is October 6, 2026!
National Taco Day is back — and this year it falls on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Which is pretty much perfect because Taco Day + Taco Tuesday = an excellent excuse to eat entirely too many tacos. 🌮
Restaurants around the country are celebrating with cheap tacos, BOGO offers, freebies and rewards deals. I’ve rounded up the best National Taco Day freebies and deals for 2026 below.

Baja Fresh – 3 Tacos for $6
On October 6, participating Baja Fresh locations are offering 3 Chicken Street Tacos for just $6.
This one is nice and easy — no rewards account or app required. The offer is available in-store only and is limited to one per person.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos – 3 Tacos for $6
Bubbakoo’s Burritos is getting in on National Taco Day with 3 tacos for $6 on October 6. Choose beef, chicken or veggie tacos on hard or soft shells at participating locations.

Chronic Tacos – Taco Deals ALL WEEK
Chronic Tacos isn’t stopping at one day this year. Rewards members can score a different taco deal every day from October 5–9 through the Chronic Tacos app.
- October 5: Buy One, Get One FREE tacos
- October 6: FREE taco
- October 7: Buy 2 tacos, get 2 FREE
- October 8: $2 off a taco plate
- October 9: Buy One, Get One FREE tacos

Chuy’s – Dress Like a Taco & Eat FREE!
OK, this might be my favorite one just because it’s ridiculous. 😂
On October 6, head to Chuy’s dressed like a taco, post a photo on social media with the message “Posting for a free entrée! #ChuysTacoDay”, show your server and you’ll get a FREE entrée of your choice.
Not willing to dress like dinner? Chuy’s is also offering $1 crispy or soft ground beef taco add-ons with an entrée and $1 ‘Rita floaters on October 6.

Laredo Taco Company – BOGO FREE Tacos & More
Laredo Taco Company has several National Taco Day offers on October 6 at participating locations inside 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.

- 2 El Gran Tocino Tacos for $5

Moe’s Southwest Grill – $2 Tacos
Moe’s is bringing back its National Taco Day deal!
- On October 6, guests can get up to three tacos for $2 each at participating Moe’s locations.
- Moe Rewards members get even longer to take advantage of the deal — the $2 taco offer runs October 6–11 for Rewards members.
The deal excludes extras, add-ons and premium proteins. Moe Rewards members ordering online or through the app need to apply the reward at checkout.

Taco Bell – Global Taco Day Freebies
Taco Bell is doing something completely different for Taco Day this year. They’ve teamed up with Duolingo to turn National Taco Day into Global Taco Day.
From now through October 6, Taco Bell Rewards members can open the Taco Bell app and get a code for a FREE 30-day Super Duolingo subscription. There are eligibility restrictions, including that you can’t already be a Duolingo subscriber.
Taco Bell is also launching a limited-edition Duo Habanero Sauce. At participating U.S. restaurants, you can get one complimentary sauce with a qualifying Doritos Locos Taco order while supplies last.
And on October 6 at 2 p.m. PT, Taco Bell Rewards members can head to Tuesday Drops for a chance to snag one of 1,000 Taco Bell x Duolingo Duo plushies.

Taco Palenque – Taco Deals All Month
Taco Palenque decided one day wasn’t enough and is celebrating tacos throughout October.
At participating locations, you’ll find breakfast tacos starting at $1.99 and Casero tacos starting at $2.99 through October 31.
There’s also an Octacos menu with specials including two breakfast tacos plus coffee for $6.29.
