Friday, May 8: Free Mini Buckets
Set your alarm! On Friday, May 8, the first 48 customers at participating Ace stores can snag a Free Ace Mini Bucket (0.5 Qt). These are perfect for small storage or even as a cute gift basket base.
Bonus Deal: If you need to do some yard work, spend $40 or more on Friday and you can also get a FREE 5-pack of yard bags!

Upcoming Million Free American Flags
Normally, in honor of Memorial Day, Ace Hardware will give away 1 million American flags nationwide. This is a beautiful way to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
- Date: Saturday, May 24th – last year – 2026 as not been announced
- Quantity: Valid for the first 240 customers at each participating store.
- Pro-Tip: These go incredibly fast. I recommend being there right when the doors open!

Do I need to make a purchase to get the free mini bucket or flag?
Typically, no! The mini bucket (Friday) and the flag (May 24) are generally “no purchase necessary” for the first set of customers. However, the free yard bags do require a $40 minimum spend.

Can I get more than one?
These offers are strictly one per customer while supplies last. If you are bringing family members, each person usually needs to be present to claim their own freebie.
