Verizon customers have a new way to score **freebies, gift cards, cash back and other rewards** just for being customers!
The new Verizon Loyalty program combines **Verizon Shine** rewards with **Verizon Dollars**, giving eligible customers access to Daily Drops, weekly sweepstakes, 3% back in Verizon Dollars and even waived activation and upgrade fees.
And yes — the rewards are available to existing Verizon customers, too!
What Do You Get With Verizon Rewards?
Depending on your eligibility, Verizon’s loyalty benefits include:
- 3% back in Verizon Dollars on eligible monthly Verizon mobile and/or Fios bills
- Waived activation and upgrade fees after opting in to Verizon Dollars — potentially saving up to $40 per device
- Verizon Shine Daily Drops with freebies, gift cards, merchandise, tickets and other offers
- Weekly sweepstakes for trips, sporting events, concerts and other experiences
- Ticket presales and special event access
- Local Passes with opportunities for free tickets to select events in your area
What Are Verizon Shine Daily Drops?

Verizon Shine Daily Drops are limited-time offers that appear inside the My Verizon app. Offers can include free food, gift cards, merchandise, tickets and other freebies.
Verizon has featured rewards such as:
- Free Starbucks offers
- Free Dunkin’ treats
- Free Arby’s offers
- Free hour at Topgolf
- Ulta Beauty gift cards
- Amazon gift cards
- NFL and other sports-related offers
- Event tickets and merchandise
Important: Daily Drops can have limited quantities and are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you see something you want, don’t wait around to claim it!

What Are Verizon Dollars?
Verizon Dollars are the cash-back side of the new rewards program.
Eligible customers can earn 3% back in Verizon Dollars on their qualifying Verizon mobile and/or Fios bill each month when the full bill is paid on time.
That includes eligible service charges as well as devices, taxes and fees on the bill.
You can redeem Verizon Dollars for things including:
- New phones
- Tablets and smartwatches
- Phone accessories
- Gift cards from participating brands
- Hotels and resorts through Verizon Travel
Verizon Visa Cardholders have additional redemption options, including using Verizon Dollars toward their Verizon Visa balance or eligible Verizon bills.
How to Sign Up for Verizon Rewards
You’ll manage everything through the My Verizon app.
For Verizon Shine, eligible customers already have access — just sign in to the app, tap Me and then select Shine.
To enroll in Verizon Dollars:
- Open the My Verizon app.
- Tap Me.
- Select the Verizon Dollars tile.
- Follow the prompts to enroll.
Verizon Visa Cardholders are automatically enrolled in Verizon Dollars.

Verizon Rewards FAQ
Is Verizon’s loyalty program free?
Yes. There is no separate membership fee to access Verizon Shine or enroll in Verizon Dollars if you’re an eligible Verizon customer.
Who is eligible for Verizon Shine?
Verizon says Shine is available to eligible U.S. customers with qualifying postpaid mobile service or postpaid Verizon Home Internet, including Fios and eligible 5G/LTE Home Internet services. Some account and device restrictions apply.
Do I have to sign up for Verizon Shine?
No separate enrollment is required for eligible customers. Open the My Verizon app, select Me and then Shine to see your available offers.
Do I have to enroll to earn Verizon Dollars?
Yes. Eligible customers generally need to enroll through the My Verizon app before earning Verizon Dollars. Verizon Visa Cardholders are automatically enrolled.
How much do I earn in Verizon Dollars?
Eligible customers earn Verizon Dollars equal to 3% of their qualifying monthly Verizon mobile and/or Fios bill when the entire bill is paid on time.
Can I use Verizon Dollars to pay my phone bill?
Not everyone can. Verizon currently says applying Verizon Dollars directly toward a Verizon mobile or Fios bill is a benefit available to eligible Verizon Visa Cardholders.
Other customers can use Verizon Dollars toward eligible Verizon devices and accessories, participating merchant gift cards, and eligible travel rewards.
Are Verizon Daily Drops guaranteed?
No. Individual Daily Drops can have limited quantities and may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Offers and availability change, so you’ll want to check the My Verizon app regularly.
Can I claim more than one Verizon Shine offer?
Yes. Claiming one Daily Drop doesn’t automatically prevent you from claiming other offers. Individual promotions may have their own limits and terms.
Where do I find my Verizon rewards?
Open the My Verizon app and tap Me. You’ll find Verizon Shine and your Verizon Dollars information there.
Do Verizon Dollars expire?
They can, so pay attention to the expiration information shown in your account. Verizon automatically uses the Verizon Dollars that expire first when you make a redemption.
