WOOHOO half way mark!  Not the best day ever but I plan to ramp it up tomorrow….really tired today but did eat well!  It’s down to two weeks until our vacation so I am REALLY motivated to do better!

Challenge:  Focus on standing up straight!  I know I sound like your Mother (in my case my Dad)…LOL.  For me it helps keep the abs tight and reminds me to stretch as much as possible!  What about you?

OK your turn…how did you do today? Eat right/exercise?

I did okay, not the best day, but not the worst. Just a tip, standing up straight actually makes a difference on the scale too (I tested it) LOL. Great advise. keep on trouping everyone.

Day Two of salads for lunch. My problem is that I get hungry again by 3. I have been bringing fruit for the 3 o’clock hour. I have trying to stick with the water drinking. The only thing with standing up straight is that I feel like I am sticking my boobs out. Need to find a happy medium between slouching and boobs entering the room first.

Mom, knock it off! Jk :)
I did TERRIBLE today because my toddler refused to eat anything and I hate food going to waste . . . so just cooking dinner for hubby and not myself, bleh.
    I’ll do better tomorrow!

Today was my official day off. I did no exercises and had pasta and cheese. Its a day to remember, but I’ll be back on track tommorow.

Just an okay day. I’ve not worked out yet today & if I don’t get a workout in today, I’ll consider it a day off. . . it’s hard being on vacation not having my normal routine to rely on . . . eating not great but not terrible . . . It’s another day and I’m chugging along.

I have been doing pretty well today food wise. oatmeal for breakfast, turkey wrap loaded with veggies, blueberries and carrots for snacking on. Exercise wise I chose to skip my cardio class because I was being very productive at home. I cleaned the entire house! Tomorrow I’ll be taking morning cardio which is an hour and hopefully evening cardio 45 minutes to make up for it.

We got back last night from our vacation. I went grocery shopping and got mostly healthy food. That’s half the battle right? I did a ton of laundry and unpacked . No other exercise but housework, too tired.

Not the greatest day for me. I didnt make it to the gym which sucks. I also only ate so-so. It was just a busy day so I didnt overeat, I just didnt eat the best and didnt find time for the gym. Tomorrow will be better I hope!

I ate well. I also did some exercises in the morning. I did some walking too. I have to get back to my routines of exercising and eating healthier with more fruits and vegetables

Youhave a good point. I don’t usually have a problem standing straight but I always catch myself slouching while seated. I was taught at a young age to breathe with my stomach muscles by a singing coach. I still do it out of habit but I really think it is responsible for my great looking stomach despite the rest of me being a little chubby. Might wana try that for a day!

I’ve been good. I made veggie gumbo a few days ago and I am finally sick of that so I will make something new today. I’m not exercising like I should but I am making sure to sweat daily!

Water aerobics and The Firm No Jiggle Abs video. The ab workout was a killer! Smoothie for breakfast, tuna and salad for lunch with a squeeze of lemon, 4 oz. london broil and homegrown tomato salad for dinner, grapes for dessert. Also started taking fish oil, b vitamins and spirulina as dietary supplements.

I love the Firm videos, they are really intense!

Your food and supplements sound good too. Do you watch Dr. Oz?

Another good day, no exercise due to stupid knees. Had an awesome meal, teriyaki hamburgers on the grill with pineapple and tomoatoes and whole wheat bun. Side dish was squash and onions with olive oil wrapped in tin foil and cooked on the grill too. I counted all my calories on my android thru myfitnesspal, you can also go to their website http://www.myfitnesspal.com.

The exercise must be helping: I’ve been sleeping much better!

That is something I wish that my mom would have nagged me about-my posture! It was HORRIBLE. I actually do find that since I started working out, I actually do have better posture. However I have a bad habit of scrunching up my shoulders so I have to conciously work on that.
