Living in Florida, Tervis is a necessity—they are the only cups that don’t sweat in the humidity! Over the years, we’ve mastered the art of the Tervis exchange.
If you own Tervis Tumblers, you need to know about the “Made for Life Guarantee.” These cups are legendary for a reason—Tervis stands behind their classic insulated drinkware for life.
If your classic tumbler is cracked, foggy, or has a broken seal, you don’t need a receipt or proof of purchase. You simply send it back, and they replace it. It’s the ultimate “buy it once” strategy for your kitchen!
How to Replace Your Tumblers (2026 Update)
Step 1: Fill Out the Form
Head to the Official Tervis Guarantee Form. You’ll need to describe the damage (cracked, foggy, etc.).
Note: If the printable form won’t load, check your email for a confirmation with your return number—you can print that instead!
Step 2: Pack & Ship
Pack your clean drinkware (tumblers, mugs, or water bottles) in a box or padded mailer. Do not include lids or straws, as accessories are not covered and won’t be returned.
Step 3: Mail to the Correct Address
Tervis uses a few facilities, so use the address generated on your specific form. Most classic returns go here:
Tervis LLC
ATTN: Guarantee Department
4690 19th St Ct E
Bradenton, FL 34203
Step 4: Wait for Your Swag
It typically takes 4–6 weeks for your brand-new replacements to arrive at your door.
My Way of Getting Cheap Tervis
We used to buy the “ugly” Christmas or holiday designs on deep clearance (think 90% off) because we knew that if they ever broke, Tervis would replace them with a standard, everyday design.
We once sent in a bunch of cracked “Santa Flamingo” cups we got for $2 each and received shiny, new clear tumblers in return. It’s a great way to “upgrade” your collection for just the cost of shipping!
What You Need to Know
What is covered?
Material defects like fogginess between the layers, cracked seals, or separation.
What is NOT covered?
Accessories (lids, straws, handles), normal wear and tear like scratches or fading, and items purchased at yard sales or secondary markets.
Stainless Steel vs. Classic:
Classic plastic tumblers are Guaranteed for Life. Stainless steel products generally have a 2-year to 5-year limited guarantee depending on the specific line.
Can I do this in-store?
Yes! If you have a Tervis retail store nearby, you can often do the exchange in person and walk out with your new cup the same day, saving you the shipping cost.
