Looking for a fun, FREE activity for the kids? Free Lowe’s Kids Workshops are a great way to get the family out of the house without spending a dime!
These hands-on Lowe’s Build & Grow Workshops let kids ages 5–12 build their own projects, learn basic DIY skills and take their creations home for FREE!
Workshops are held at participating Lowe’s stores from 10 AM to 1 PM and are available to MyLowe’s Rewards members. Registration is required, and spots can fill up quickly!
Upcoming Free Lowe’s Kids Workshops
Here are the next scheduled Lowe’s Build & Grow events:
- November 14, 2026 – Holiday Engine: Kids can build a festive holiday train engine. Registration opens October 10.
- December 12, 2026 – Holiday Trolley Car: Build and decorate a classic holiday trolley car. Registration opens November 14.
- January 16, 2027 – Winter Play Lodge: Start the new year with a fun winter-themed building project. Registration opens December 12.
Tip: Lowe’s Kids Workshops are extremely popular! Register as soon as your preferred workshop opens to help secure your child’s spot.
How to Register for Lowe’s Kids Workshops
- Visit the Lowe’s Kids Workshops registration page.
- Sign in to your MyLowe’s Rewards account or create a free account.
- Choose your preferred workshop and participating Lowe’s location.
- Register your child while spots are available.
- Head to Lowe’s on workshop day and enjoy your FREE project!

Earn FREE Lowe’s Kids Workshop Rewards
Here’s another fun perk! Kids can collect special workshop badges, earn aprons and work toward additional rewards as they participate in Lowe’s Kids Workshops.
Kids who complete 12 workshops can earn a FREE tool bag!
Each workshop includes a collectible badge. Once your child collects all 12, show them to a Lowe’s Red Vest associate at your next workshop to receive a Sr. Builder Badge and a code to redeem the free tool bag online.

Yes! Participating kids can build a project and take it home for FREE. Registration is required, and supplies and spaces are limited.
